Immigration To Canada Inadmissibility Due To Crime

Question: Three years ago, I was arrested for a crime but not convicted. Will this be a problem when I apply for Canadian immigration?

Answer: It is important that all questions on Canadian immigration application forms are answered truthfully. If you have been arrested or jailed in the past for any offense, you must clearly indicate and explain this in your answers. While there are exceptions, only convictions can usually cause inadmissibility to immigrate to Canada.
